Consciente de lo costosas que son las universidades en EEUU, Cecilia Polanco, nacida en California de padres inmigrantes, decidió montar un foodtruck especializado en las famosas tortillas salvadoreñas, cuyos beneficios se destinan a dar becas a los estudiantes indocumentados de North Carolina.

Hoy se cumplen cincuenta años de la publicación de "Cien años de Soledad", la novela de Gabriel García Márquez que marcó un giro en la historia de la literatura en español. Desde su publicación, el 30 de mayo de 1967, la obra maestra del premio Nobel de Literatura colombiano ha sido traducida a más de 44 idiomas.

US President will tour Tel Aviv and Jerusalem today, after a weekend in Ryadh, prioritizing trade deals over human rights concerns. During his visit to Israel, Trump is expected to meet prime minister with Benjamin Netanyahu and later with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to discuss an eternal goal: an "ultimate peace deal."

El Presidente Trump ha prometido “mostrar un gran corazón” a la hora de tratar a los beneficiarios del DACA, pero los casos recientes de detención y amenazas de deportación sufridos por algunos ‘dreamers” en diversos estados han despertado la alarma entre esta comunidad, formada en su mayoría por inmigrantes latinos indocumentados.
